The Arcotel Velvet is located at the heart of Berlin's art and culinary scene. The Hackescher Markt, the Museum Island, Friedrichstrasse and many of Berlin's major sights are located within walking distance of the Hotel.

Tourists information

The Arcotel Velvet is located right in the centre of Berlin. The underground station 'Oranienburger Tor' (line U6) and the S-Bahn (city rail) station 'Oranienburger Strasse' (lines S1, S2, S25) are nearby.

From Tegel Airport (TXL):
- Take the bus number 128 and get out at 'Kurt-Schumacher-Platz'
- From here, take the underground line U6 towards Alt-Mariendorf
- Get out at 'Oranienburger Tor'
Journey time: 25 minutes

From Schönefeld Airport (SXF):
- Take the airport express train service (RE7 or RB14) or the S-Bahn train service (S9) to 'Friedrichstrasse'
- From there, travel one stop north by underground (U6, direction Alt-Tegel) or tram (M1 or 12) to 'Oranienburger Tor'
Journey time: 35 - 55 minutes

From the new main railway station (Hauptbahnhof):
- Take the bus number 240 and get off at the stop 'Torstr./U Oranienburger Tor'
Journey time: 10 minutes

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
