The unique art'otel berlin mitte, by park plaza combines the historic Ermelerhaus and modern architecture, right in the heart of the historic centre of Berlin. Similar to a gallery, the entire art'otel is dedicated to Georg Baselitz, one of the most famous contemporary German artists. The architecture and the exclusive interior design have been created by Austrian architect Johanne Nalbach. Our philosophy is based on the combination of art'rageous service with outrageous design.

Two stylish meeting rooms and a business-centre, in addition to the banqueting facilities in the Ermelerhaus, make the art'otel the perfect place for a variety of events. The Factory restaurant & bar, part of the historic Ermelerhaus, offers creative and tempting cuisine.

All guest rooms boast a contemporary and stylish interior and include shower or bath tub, in-house movies, analogue Internet access, voice mail, safe, mini-bar, hairdryer and air-conditioning.

Our suites and art suites are equipped with complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, balcony (art`suites), kitchen area (art`suites), bath and luxury bathroom amenities.

Food and beverages

Every culinary taste is catered for in our Factory restaurant. The trendy, design-led Factory serves fine, modern international cuisine in a unique atmosphere and can seat 56 people.

Area information

There are ideal public transportation connections and the underground station (U2) is opposite the hotel. Other area attractions include 'Nikolai Viertel' - the historic Dutch centre of Berlin, 'Reichstag', 'Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm' Memorial Church, 'Brandenburger Tor', 'Potsdamer Platz', 'Kurfuerstendamm', 'Schloss Charlottenburg' and the ICC International Fair and Congress Centre Berlin. Berlin-Tegel Airport is a 30-minute drive and 'Ostbahnhof' train station is a 5-minute drive.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 26.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms only and costs EUR 13.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 16.00 per person.
