Short description

The Lodge Berlin is located midway in the trendy district Friedrichshain. Visit the flea market every Sunday, it's within walking distance. It is the meeting point for visitors, locals who busk, theater, etc.

Room information

We have four 2-room apartments with wooden floorboards, bamboo beds, stucco ornaments, a small multilingual library and a balcony, in addition to the listed facilities.

Please note that, if you book only one room in an apartment, you will be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with other guests.

Area information

In the streets around the "Boxi" Friedrichshain shows it´s special flair.
Next to long-established retailers, you find various little shops, restaurants, bars, galleries or offices.

Simon-Dach-Straße is located around the corner of the LODGE which becomes one of the Hot-Spots of the city, especially on the weekends.
Quite a few hostels and backpackers have been opening around here).

Those who anyhow would like to leave the area, can reach the "rest" of town easily due to convenient connections through public transport or even by bicycle.

A peace of original Berlin wall streches a couple of kilometers along the Spree. The start of the so-called East-Side-Gallery (afterwards been covered with art work and graffities) is to be reached in a 20- inutes-walk or 7-minutes-ride by bike.The gallerie starts at Oberbaumbrücke.
From the LODGE you get fast and easy by bike (ca. 10 minuts) or by public transport (U5: 7 minutes) to Alexanderplatz with it´s famous television tower (the emblem of the capital of the former GDR East-Berlin) and the Red Town Hall..

Kreuzberg borders just in the south - only seperated from Friedrichshain through the river Spree. It will take you 10 to 15 minutes by bike or U-Bahn (underground) to this famous mulit-cultural area. To get to trendy Mitte District, it takes about 20 minutes and about 20 to 25 to Prenzlauer Berg.

Tourists information

From airport Schönefeld (SXF):
follow the signs to S-Bahn (City train). Take S 9 in Northern direction and get off after about 25 minuts at Warschauer Straße.
From there it is a 10-minutes walk (or catch the Tram M13 for 2 stops)

From airport Tegel (TXL):
There is several possibilities. Such as catch the bus TXL to Alexanderplatz and change their into the underground U5 direction Hönow. After 7 minuts get off at Samariterstraße and walk about 10 minuts the the LODGE.

Remarks

One-time towels, bedclothes as well as final cleaning are included. Among other things we offer bicycles in-house

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled or modified up to 5 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: This hotel has no meal services.

Parking: No parking available.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
