The surprisingly different 4-star plus hotel is located in the new centre of Berlin, next to the Potsdamer Platz. The hotel is prized with the Berlin real estate award 2005 because of the exceptionally innovative interior design and a kaleidoscope of colours, shapes and materials combined with the historical flair of the Siemens Building. Because of the central location the hotel is the perfect vantage point for business and private travellers and with the direct bus-connection from the new central train station it's easy to reach the hotel within a few minutes. Numerous sights like the "Potsdamer Platz", the "Brandenburger Tor", the "Friedrichstraße", The "Reichstag", the "Checkpoint Charlie" are easy to reach, as well as the west of the city with the "Kudamm" and the "Gedächtniskirche".

The materials used for the hotel range from olive wood to poured asphalt, and the playful use of the elements fire, water, air and light reflects a dynamic interior design employed throughout these historic walls, in a sensitive and subtle manner.
The inner courtyards of the building have distinctive architectural features. Their purpose is unique: the courtyard of tranquility and the courtyard of wilderness are used as conference foyers and recreational areas, while the Hof zwei Restaurant with its Mediterrean atmosphere was created as an additional inner courtyard.

Room information

The concept of the rooms has been taken into consideration with a great deal of care. The wide range of different floor plans is brought together by the design concept to create a variety of individual possibilities that are truly unique. There are 243 rooms on 5 floors including 22 junior suites, one tower suite and 18 deluxe rooms - which feature angled ceilings and a freestanding bath from Philippe Strack with a separate shower or wellness shower.

Food and beverages

The restaurant Hof zwei with a Mediterranean ambiance in the style of a piazza is located in the second of the historical inner courtyards. A glass roof that can be opened, a water wall, olive trees and a mosaic floor characterize the special atmosphere of this room. The range of culinary delicacies are based on Swiss, Mediterranean and regional dishes. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 6:30 h to min. 0.00 h

Area information

Only a few minutes from the hotel you will find the historically unique Brandenburger Tor, the Potsdamer Platz, the Reichtstag, the concert hall and plenty of museums, theaters and opera houses. The shopping miles Unter den Linden and Friedrichstraße are easy to reach. There's an ideal connection to the western part of Berlin and its shopping and sightseeing facilities.

The main train station Berlin Hauptbahnhof is easy to reach within several minutes. It only takes you 15 to 20 minutes to the airport Tegel and approximately 45 minutes to Airport Schönefeld.

A10 to Potsdam -> exit Rangsdorf to B96 to Berlin-Tempelhof. Follow B96 passing the airport temple corut, via Tempelhofer Damm and Mehringdamm. At "Hallesches Ufer" turn left to Charlottenburg / Zoo. Go straight ahead to Potsdamer Street and then turn right into Potsdamer Street. At the next crossing turn right in the Stresemann street to the corner Schoeneberger street.Turn right again. Welcome!

Exit at the Spandauer Damm in direction Charlottenburg.

From Charlottenburg:
Pass castle Charlottenburg straight ahead on Otto-Suhr-Allee in direction centre. In roundabout Ernst-Reuter-Place take the 3. exit into the Street Straße des 17. Juni. Go straight ahead up to roundabout (big star/triumphal column). There take the 1. exit to Schönefeld Zoo (Hofjaegerallee). Turn left into Tiergarten Street, right into Ben-Gurion-Street, left in Potsdam street. At the next crossing turn right in the Stresemann Street to corner Schoeneberger Street.Turn repeatedly to the right. Welcome.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.
