This Wilhelminian-era building has been lovingly renovated and refurbished. Its tasteful interior is reminiscent of the Russian "Silver Age“, comparable with 1920's Germany. Grand mirrors and trinkets, designed in the style of the famous jeweller Fabergé, lend the hotel an aristocratic ambience.

The Hotel Zarenhof offers comfortable, quiet and cosy single, double and triple rooms which are named after the members of the Czar’s family:

• "Czar Nicolas II"
• "Czarina Alexandra Fjodorowna"
• "Olga", "Tatjana", "Maria", "Anastasia" and "Aleksej" (the Czar’s children)

Food and beverages

Breakfast is not included in the rate. On request, we offer our delicious "Czar's Breakfast". It includes Russian specialities such as Russian caviar, blinis (Russian pancakes) and many other national dishes.

Area information

The Hotel Zarenhof is located in the heart of Berlin, only 2 minutes' walk from the underground station "Zinnowitzer Strasse" and only 1 minute from the railway station "Nordbahnhof". The famous "Scheunenviertel" including Friedrichstrasse is one of the oldest quarters of the city and lies only 350 metres away. This is one of Berlin’s most fashionable shopping areas with numerous interesting shops and galleries. At the Oranienburger Strasse nearby you will find a lot of inviting cafés and restaurants, where you can meet tourists as well as residents.

It will only take a short walk to get to the government district, home of the Reichstag, the beautiful boulevard "Unter den Linden", the historical "Gendarmenmarkt", the famous Museum Island or the "Hackesche Höfe" that are of great interest to tourists. In addition, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz and the legendary Kurfürstendamm are within easy reach.

From the airports:
• Tegel: bus 128 to Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Change to underground line U6 direction Alt-Mariendorf, get off at Zinnowitzer Strasse
• Schoenefeld: S9 train towards Grunewald, get off at Friedrichstrasse, change onto the S1 train towards Oranienburg and get off at Nordbahnhof OR from Friedrichstrasse with underground line U6 towards Alt-Tegel, get off at Zinnowitzer Strasse

From the exhibition centre:
• Take train S46 to Gesundbrunnen and change onto S1 train to Nordbahnhof

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
