Surrounded by dense treetops of 100-year-old chestnut trees, this hotel was originally built in 1891 as a private house. It lies close to the "Großer Garten" and the newly opened "Panometer" (panoramic painting) in Dresden.

The comfortably furnished non smoker rooms were newly renovated in January 2007.

Food and beverages

For people who love good food our restaurant provides a variety of delectabilities. Our guests will be delighted with the fresh and seasonal cuisine which combines traditional Saxonian dishes with recipes from the 'good old days' and international dishes.

In the morning you can take your pick from our lovingly arranged breakfast buffet, which you can enjoy in our garden during the summer months.

Area information

The hotel is located 4 kilometres away from the city centre, between Großer Garten and the race course. The old town is easily reached in just 15 minutes by tram. 700 metres away you will find the newly opened "Panometer Dresden".

Day trips to the nearby Pillnitz Castle and to "Saxonian Switzerland" are recommended, whether by bicycle, tram or steam boat.

Tourists information

Leave the motorway at exit "Dresden-Altstadt" and take "Hotelroute A", following the signs to "Zentrum".

Once you reach the "Gläsernen Manufaktur von VW" (the "Transparent Factory") follow the Großer Garten right to its end and then turn right. At the traffic lights turn left into Winterbergstraße. You will then find our hotel at the 3rd set of traffic lights on the right-hand side. The entrance to the hotel car park is to the right of the hotel.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms only and charges are applicable.
