The blu hotel Freiburg is located in the Western part of Freiburg, close to the freeway A5. Our convenient location offers excellent options for tours to surrounding destinations. The Alsatian town of Colmar, which is also affectionately called “little Venice”, can easily be reached from here like the border of Switzerland or to the Leisure Park Rust. If you like pizza from the stone furnace, visit our restaurant on the ground floor.

Area information

Visit Freiburg’s historic centre and unwind in one of its numerous student cafes. Nature enthusiasts can venture into the nearby Black Forest and enjoy the scenery from Schauinsland mountain or hike through the area. Lake Titisee, a natural reservoir 35 km from the hotel, is ideal for a number of outdoor activities, including wind-surfing and fishing. In winter, cross country skiing is possible in the region.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 21.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.
