Hotel Engel is located in the quiet district of Hamburg-Lokstedt, near the world-famous Hagenbeck’s Zoo. Our concern is your recreation: In our wellness area with sauna and various fitness machines you can relax after a strenuous day.

Each of the 95 rooms is affectionately and individually designed to fit the guests' desires. The well-being of our guests is our highest priority.

Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available upon request.

Food and beverages

Enjoy regional and international cuisine at our restaurant PAPILLON. Whether in a group of 10 or 50 persons – we also provide space for any kind of event.

In nice weather you may want to take a seat on our sunny terrace. Our hotel bar invites to stay for a "Kloenschnack", a Hamburger word for small-talk.

In the morning, a delicious and comprehensive breakfast buffet awaits you, available up to lunchtime.

Tourists information

You reach the hotel via the A7, exit Stellingen or Schnelsen. Public parking is available in front of the hotel or in two underground parking garages.

The airport, the central train station and all sights are easily accessible by public transport.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.
