Hotel Europäischer Hof is one of the largest private hotels in Germany. The hotel offers 275 rooms in a prime city location opposite the central station. Built in 1925, it had extensively been renovated and refurbished in 2007 and now presents itself in a new appearance, in the vicinity of all major points of interest.

All S-Bahn and subway lines as well as the airport shuttle leave from the station opposite the hotel. The room key card entitles you to ride all means of public transportation free of charge on the first three days of your visit. Additionally, the airport shuttle from and to the hotel is included in the room price.

Sports & leisure
Guests of the hotel may use the "EURO-Therme" free of charge. It comprises of 6 floors which are connected by elevators and a spiral staircase. Hours: daily from 7:00am to 10:00pm.

Conferences & events
Our conference rooms have a size of 33 to 160 m² and offer space for 20 to 100 people, depending on the seating.

Room information

We offer modern and bright rooms in the Standard category, equipped with many amenities. The Standard Plus rooms are larger and feature more amenities such as mobile room telephone or working desk. The rooms of our Comfort category are not only spacious but distinguish themselves with additional features such as room safe, fax and modem connection, and (to a large extent) walk-in closets.

The room price includes free admission the the "EURO-Therme" featuring pool, water slide, whirlpool, various saunas, fitness floor and squash court. Additional offers such as solarium, golf simulators and massages are available for a fee.

The key card for your room is also valid for all means of public transportation including bus, subway, ferry and the Airport Express. To use the airport shuttle, guest may only show the confirmation of their reservation to the driver.

Food and beverages

Restaurant Paulaner’s "Miraculum"
Our menu as well as the weekly changing lunch dishes offer a rich culinary selection. These include meat dishes, Bavarian specialties, fish variations, grandmother’s recipes, original Bavarian snacks and salad variations. Get spoiled and enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the Paulaner’s with a fresh draft beer or a glass of wine from our wine list. A wide range of cocktails is offered by the integrated bar.

Flaggenbar
Our Flaggenbar is centrally located on the ground floor next to the reception desk. It is an ideal meeting point and is also suitable for smaller meetings. Enjoy the afternoon with coffee and fresh cakes or choose from our elaborate bar menu.

Tourists information

Directions to the hotel from the North A7 / A 23
Leave the motorway at the exit Stellingen, drive via the Kieler Straße (signs indicate Hamburg Messe/Centrum). Follow the sign for approx. 3km. Turn left into the Schäferkampsallee/Edmund-Siemers-Allee. Carry on past the Dammtor Station in the right-hand lane, pass over the Kennedy Bridge, then turn right following the sign to the Central Station. Once reaching the Glockengießerwall, take the first turning left into Ernst-Merck-Straße, then the second traffic-lights into the Kirchenallee until the end. take a U-turn onto the opposite side. The hotel is on the right-hand side.

Directions to the hotel from the South / Southeast
Follow the sign Hamburg-Centrum. After reaching the bridge Elbbrücken, change to the right-lane, turn right into the Amsinckstraße. Carry on following the signs towards Centrum/Hauptbahnhof. Turn right into Klosterwall, then at the second traffic lights turn right into the Steindamm. Stay in the left-lane, turn left into the Kirchenallee. The hotel is on the right-hand side.


Directions to the hotel from the East / Northeast A24 / A1
From the A1, join onto the A24. Leave the motorway at the exit Jenfeld, this brings you onto the roundabout in Horn. Follow the signs towards the city-centre (Centrum) via the Sievekingsallee. Follow the signs to Hauptbahnhof, turn left into the Kirchenallee. The hotel is on the right-hand side.


Arriving by air-plane
There is a shuttle-bus leaving the airport every 15 minutes, this takes you to the Central-Station. The hotel is situated directly opposite the station.


Exclusively for our hotelguests, is the shuttle service from the Airport to the Hotel and back, with the Jasper bus included in our room rates! As our guest you have just to show your hotel confirmation to the bus driver.

Remarks

From 1st January parking will be charged at EUR 16 a day.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in public areas only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: American breakfast is included in the room rate.
