This hotel is situated in the centre of Hamburg city, only a few minutes walk from the train station Dammtor, the Hamburg exhibition centre, the Hamburg congress centre and the River Aster.

The hotel is near to many useful public transport connections, ensuring you reach all parts of the city quickly and easily.

Situated on the third floor of the charming Dammtor Palace with its impressive architecture and interior, we offer the comfort of a friendly and traditionally-run hotel. Free WLAN access is provided to guests.

Guests can book tickets through us for the German Concert House (Deutsche Schaeuspielhaus) and the Thalia theatre at a discount of 50% (except for opening nights and guest performances). It is also possible to buy reduced tickets for the Polittbüro Cabaret.

Sports enthusiasts can use the hotel bike rental and the "jogging tickets" we have on offer.

We also offer city maps at reception.

Food and beverages

Start the day with a rich and varied breakfast buffet. In the summer you can watch the hot-air balloons taking off from the meadows. We recommend the "Restaurant des Logenhauses" on the ground floor for a lovely evening meal.

Area information

There are many things to explore in this area of the city, Rotherbaum: next to the university there are tennis courts, a media complex with several TV studios as well as numerous cafés and restaurants. You can go for a stroll along the River Alster or try various sporting activities.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.
