Area information

Centrally located between the harbour, the inner city and the city’s symbol – St. Michael’s Church, Madison Hotel Hamburg enjoys a quiet setting. Many sights, including the historical Speicherstadt and HafenCity, are within walking distance. Other important places, such as Flughafen Fuhlsbüttel (airport) or the Hauptbahnhof (central station), can easily be reached by public transport or car.

Tourists information

By car:
- Coming from Flensburg, follow the A7 motorway until exit Bahrenfeld.
- Continue in the direction of the centre (Zentrum) via Von-Sauer-Straße,
Bahrenfelder Chaussee and Stresemannstraße.
- Continue on the B4 and Budapester Straße, Millerntordamm,
Ludwig-Erhard-Straße.
- At the underground bridge Rödingsmarkt take a right and continue until the
next traffic lights.
- At the traffic lights turn right into Schaarsteinweg.

- Coming from Lübeck, follow the A1 motorway until interchange
Hamburg-Ost.
- Continue on the A24 in the direction of the centre (Zentrum).
- After the Elbbrücken continue in the direction of the harbour.
- After Amsinckstraße continue in the direction of the tunnel and
Hafen/Landungsbrücken.
- Continue straight ahead until you reach the underground bridge.
- Drive straight ahead (underneath the bridge) and continue on
Schaarsteinweg until you reach the hotel.

- Coming from Bremen, follow the A1/A255 motorway in the direction of the
centre (Zentrum).
- After the Elbbrücken (bridges) continue in the direction of the harbour.
- After Amsinckstraße continue in the direction of the tunnel and
Hafen/Landungsbrücken.
- Drive straight ahead (underneath the bridge) and continue on
Schaarsteinweg until you reach the hotel.

- Coming from Berlin, follow the A24 motorway until interchange Kreuz
Hamburg-Ost.
- Continue on the A1 in the direction of Bremen and then on the A255 in the
direction of the centre (Zentrum).
- After Amsinckstraße continue in the direction of the tunnel and
Hafen/Landungsbrücken.
-Drive straight ahead (underneath the bridge) and continue on
Schaarsteinweg until you reach the hotel.


By public transport:
- From the Hauptbahnhof (central station) take the U3 (metro) in the direction
of Landungsbrücken.
- Stop Baumwall (4th stop after central station) is only a 2 minute’s walk
from the hotel.

Remarks

Madison guests enjoy Meridian Spa until 12:00 free of charge. After midday, the daily rate is EUR 15. Children between 3 and 11 can use the spa Fridays 10:00 - 17:00 (EUR 8) and Saturdays: 09:00 - 10:30 free of charge and must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 29.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and costs EUR 10.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 14.50 per person.

Parking: Public parking is possible on site and costs EUR 14.00 per day.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
