Welcome to the quiet, family-run Hotel Waldersee, located right on the edge of Europe’s largest urban forest, "Eilenriede"

From here, the city centre lies just 4 underground stations away (the nearest underground station can be found 300 metres from the hotel). Discover Hanover with the aid of our cost-free rental bicycles, or unwind in our indoor pool, sauna or solarium. For a varied leisure programme, we also offer table tennis and darts (free of charge).

In our lobby you will find a PC with USB port and printer, which may be used at no extra charge.

The exhibition grounds lie at a distance of 8 kilometres, and can be reached by car in 15 minutes or by underground train in 35.

Our rooms are bright, comfortable and quiet. Simply close the door and take a deep breath. Everyday stresses and strains must be kept outside!

Food and beverages

Your day begins with a comprehensive breakfast buffet.

For your evening meal, you will find various international restaurants within the immediate surroundings (3-8 minutes away by foot).

Round off the day in the cosy atmosphere of our cellar bar.

Area information

Just a short stroll away you find several restaurants offering a variety of cuisine. "Lister Meile" - the city's largest pedestrian area - lies just 2 underground stops away. Europe's largest urban forest, "Eilenriede", awaits right outside our front door.

Tourists information

If you arrive from direction Dortmund (A2), take the exit Bothfeld.
From Berlin (A2) you change onto the A37 at the junction Hanover/Buchholz and exit Weidetor.
From direction Hamburg or Bremen (A7) you change onto the A37 at the junction Hanover-Kirchhorst and follow direction Zentrum. Take the exit Weidetor (Med. Hochschule MHH).
If you arrive from direction Kassel (A7), follow "Messe" at the junction Hannover-Süd. Take the Messe expressway for about 14 kilometers and exit at Weidetor.

On Saturdays and Sundays, Reception is open during the following hours:

08:00 - 12:00 (noon)
18:00 - 22:00

If you intend to arrive outside of these hours, please contact the hotel in advance.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
One child under 10 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.
One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 8.00 per person.
