The city 'under the sign of the castle' is not only famous for its spicy gingerbread and the Christmas Market. Nuremberg is so rich in attractions that even a superficial visit to the Old Town takes at least a day. The 'Hotel Am Jakobsmarkt', in the Old Town, is ideally located for sightseeing by foot. Room information

The hotel offers 77 guest rooms in a modern or rustic style. For longer stays we recommend our comfortable 1-room and 2-room apartments, all of which feature a private fully-equipped kitchenette, and one of which features separate living and sleeping areas.

Food and beverages

Close to the hotel you will find some culinary specialities like the Japanese restaurant 'Ishihara' or the traditional German restaurants 'Restauration Fischer' and 'Zum Gulden Stern'.

Area information

In the neighbourhood of the hotel you can find lots of cultural offers, like the state theatre, the opera and many museums. Or just stroll around the historical Old Town of Nuremberg with its unique medieval castle area.

Tourists information

Take the motorway A73 until the exit 'Nürnberg Zentrum' and follow the directions to the city centre. Pass the 'Ludwigstor' and follow the directions to the garage 'Am Jakobsmarkt'.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
