Hotel zum Schwarzen Adler is a former brewery (closed in 1904) located in the heart of Rothenburg. It has a long tradition of hospitality. The oldest part of the hotel is the pub that has a history dating back 220 years and offers regional and international dishes and good value for money. After a warm welcome you can relax from your trip in one of our friendly single or double rooms.

Food and beverages

Our excellent restaurant offers Greek and international dishes served in a cosy ambiance. The room offers 35 seats and is the ideal setting for parties, meetings and events. If the weather conditions allow it guests can also use the outside tables.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Internet via modem is available in public areas only and costs EUR 2.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.
Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 5.00 per day.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
