The new 4-star plus Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg occupies a converted water tower in Sternschanzenpark, and is sure to captivate you with its unique atmosphere and prime location in the city's vibrant going out area.

The exhibition grounds are just a short walk away from the hotel. Right outside our front door you find the underground and city rail station "Sternschanze", whose services take you to the city centre in just 5 minutes.

Apart from in our "Cave Bar", smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.

The hotel boasts several unique features, including a 60-metre high tower with brick architecture typical of northern Germany, and an underground escalator which transports guests to the centre of the tower.

The striking lobby area will impress you with its brick columns and light pyramids. Our 13 air-conditioned conference rooms, 12 of which feature natural daylight, provide the ideal setting for a successful meeting. Our conference centre is 570 m² in size and equipped with the latest in modern conference technology.

For your relaxation and well-being, we offer a wellness and fitness area with sauna, steam bath, relaxation room, experience showers, solarium and modern fitness apparatus.

Children are most welcome at our hotel. We will do our best to fulfil all requests, from art sets to bathing accessories and toys. We also offer a special children's menu. On request we can provide you with a babysitter, should you wish to round off your day alone.

Choose from a variety of pillows, which may be ordered during your stay:

Numerous leisure facilities are available, such as boules and beach volleyball in the park, jogging or cycling next to one of the many stretches of river or lakes, or swimming in one of the area's pools.

Arriving by public transport:

From the main railway station:
- Take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S21 towards Elbgaustraße or the S31 towards Altona
- Get out at the second stop (Sternschanze) and take the back exit
- You will find the hotel to your right, in the park

Arriving by car:

From the North via the A7:
- Take exit number 26 - HH-Stellimgen
- From Kieler Straße turn left into Fruchtallee, which then becomes Schäferkamp
- Turn right into the road Kleiner Schäferkamp
- Keep to the left and turn into Schanzenstraße
- Turn left into the small road Sternschanze

From the South and West via the A7/A1/A255:
- Travel over the Elbbrücken bridges and head towards the city centre ("Zentrum")
- After the tunnel Wallringtunnel, continue straight ahead over Glockengiesserwall
- Continue over the bridge Lombardbrücke and keep to the left
- Continue along the road Esplanade, which then becomes Gorch-Fock-Wall
- Turn right into Jungiusstraße, which then becomes St.Petersburger Straße
- Turn right into Rentzelstraße and at the next crossing turn right into Schröderstiftstraße
- Turn left into the road Kleiner Schäferkamp and continue as above

From the East via the A24:
- Take the exit Zentrum
- Follow the road Sievekingsallee, which then becomes Bürgerweide
- Turn right into Wallstraße, which then becomes Sechslingspforte
- Turn left into the road An der Alster
- Keep to the right and cross over the bridge Kennedybrücke
- Continue straight ahead along Alsterglacis and Edmund-Siemens-Allee
- Turn left into An der Verbindunsbahn and follow the course of the road
- From Schröderstiftstraße turn left into the road Kleiner Schäferkamp and continue as above

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first three nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and is free of charge.
Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and costs EUR 0.25 per minute.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 19.00 per person.

Parking: Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 20.00 per day.
Public parking is possible on streets nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 12.00 per day.
